How bad is the ad blocker revolution?

What effect will ad blockers have on your brand exposures, or if you are a publisher on your available inventory to sell?  Klick Health put together a nice blog post that reviews some numbers on iOS ad blocking and the potential impact for mobile web advertising (Safari browser on an iOS device)

The IAB is also very focused on the issue telling the industry that “we’ve gone too far” in placing way too many ads on pages in chasing the dollar that we’ve forgotten about user experience.  In essence, as an industry, we’ve brought ad blocking upon ourselves.
