Are Facebook “Likes” worth anything? What exactly are you paying for?

Most people have heard of the click farm sites where you can “buy” a huge number of likes for just a few dollars in just a matter of hours.  But what about buying Facebook ads themselves?  How much are you spending here, and what exactly are you getting.  This is an interesting video that illustrates some interesting Facebook experiments using paid Facebook Ads that might shock you and convince you to re-evaluate that Facebook spend.  While I’m confident Facebook will “figure this out” over time, it appears they’ve got some work ahead of them to restore credibility.
