Why Old Time Media Companies are Getting Eaten by Tech Companies

Here’s a great post and read by fellow Internet Old-Timer Eric Picard. This is the same message I’ve been touting to publishing partners for a long time. The challenge they face is best summed up in Clayton Christensen’s book, “The Innovator’s Dilemna”. Is the same reason railroads viewed themselves as railroads and not transportation companies (and lost out to automobiles and planes, rather than innovating into them). Nice job Eric.
