Could clickable paper save the print industry?
Here’s an interesting innovation that could add some new life into print, while killing the QR code. Why print a seperate computer readable QR code, when computers are learning to read better every day (and recognized any unique pattern). Could this innovation save print, or at least breathe in some new life? Perhaps. It might also bring a new level of measurability and data tracking to print that didn’t exist before. If the data is good, it’s a life saver. But if the data is bad… it might only accelerate print’s decline. Digital has always been held to a higher standard due to it’s measurablity, and it has learned to adapt. How would print measure up if everyone had this app? What do you think?
